Starkville student work is still dripping in but the young designers from the Rural Studio have sent some beautiful projects. Corinne Oslen who is living in Greensboro, Al.  Sent this mini-crazy quilt.  I think its a coming trend for young designers to be drawing in fabric……

This is the work that Los Angeles artist Tami Wedekind sent for the auction.  Tami does digital drawings and then makes site specific panels for the architecture spaces.  Sunday is going to be a good day.

One of the real highlights of the auction will be the small painting that Atlanta painter Jean Glenn sent.  Its a real treat to see her work outside of Timothy Tew’s gallery where she is represented.  Please come on down and take a peek.

We are so excited to be hosting a fundraiser for the re-building of Haiti.  First order of business this great poster by Mark Wise.  All week I will be posting some of the artists donations…..stay tuned!

Having a Georgia childhood I grew up with all these cakes.  I had to share this thorough analytical breakdown via the New York Times. And I like this idea of “cakes as ministery”
