It was a great weekend in Starkville-lots of creative capital on display.  Take some time on Monday to see this film-Citizen Architect- at Giles Hall-Micheal Fazio Lecture Hall-7:30 April 19th.

Yes, The Cotton District Arts Festival is this weekend in Starkville  And in and around this event is a veritable art walk….Senior Interior Design students are showing at Giles Hall-2-5 Friday, 10-2 Saturday, Architecture students’ select furniture/MATERIALS design projects at Little Building Cafe Sat. 2-5 and Senior art students showing at the Visual Arts Center at the edge of campus (AKA MOCA buildings.)  Check it out!

Please join us on Saturday for an exhibition of chairs made by CAAD students for the “Materials” class. The reception begins at 2pm.

This is the last submission that arrived for the show-entitled” The Long Wait” by CAAd faculty member Mark Wise. We will have a fine time.  Hope you can make it.

Starkville student work is still dripping in but the young designers from the Rural Studio have sent some beautiful projects. Corinne Oslen who is living in Greensboro, Al.  Sent this mini-crazy quilt.  I think its a coming trend for young designers to be drawing in fabric……
