It seems like there is more rain but we will make-it-with Red beans and Rice, carrot ginger soup and strawberry muffins.

This is an image that Caleb took up at Mr. Freeman’s farm in January….. I think its a great hopeful image for spring.  Tonight is a event that our family likes to participate in…Madeline “turned us on” to it.  Earth Hour is tonight and you can sign up to turn your lights off for one hour with 50 million other families and businesses all over the world.  Mississippi’s scheduled time is 8:30-9:30.  The event is designed to increase awareness on global warming and energy consumption.  The list of participating organizations  includes University of Alabama, the Atlanta Braves and Little Building Cafe!

Ted has made chocolate chip muffins, one more batch of Red beans and Rice with Chow Chow and cookies, cookies, cookies……

Is when Ted makes chocolate chip muffins.  We do make all the muffins with un-bleached flour.  So think about that and feel good while you are eating that chocolate chip muffin……

Imagine my delight and surprise when I saw that Mr Felder Rushing was featured in a article in The New York Times… people in NYC wish they had a Felder…….

Go ahead and get a Strawberry/Pecan Muffin……really good.  Cookies are being prepared and a bowl of red beans and rice is ready for you.

Hi There, Another batch of red beans and rice is on the stove and one more batch of strawberry muffins.  In the afternoon, please come by for a honey oatmeal cookie-they are good…..
